PM Modi in Gorakhpur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s dream project Fertilizer Factory, AIIMS and the Regional Medical Research Center (RMRC) of Baba Raghav Das Medical College on 07 December at a cost of 10 thousand crores. In the year 2016, the Prime Minister had laid the foundation of the fertilizer factory and AIIMS.

Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the Gorakhpur Fertilizer Factory worth Rs 8603 crore, the first AIIMS in Eastern Uttar Pradesh to be built in Gorakhpur from Rs 1011 crore and Hi-Tech Labs of RMRC at a cost of Rs 36 crore. The Prilling Tower built in Gorakhpur Fertilizer Factory is the tallest in the world. Its height is more than twice the height of Qutub Minar.

Yogi Adityanath struggled for 19 years as an MP to get the fertilizer factory of Fertilizer Corporation of India closed in Gorakhpur in 1990 re-run or to set up a new factory in its place. It is the result of this struggle of Yogi Adityanath that on 22 July 2016, Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of the fertilizer factory.

Prime Minister Modi will dedicate the fertilizer factory to the country on 7 December. More than 12 lakh metric tonnes of urea is expected to be produced annually from this fertilizer factory. CM Yogi said that along with Eastern Uttar Pradesh, a large population of Bihar and Nepal will also be benefited from all three projects.

CM Yogi said that in the last 40 years, more than 50 thousand children have lost their lives due to encephalitis. In order to fight diseases in eastern Uttar Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had laid the foundation of an AIIMS in the year 2016, which has now been completed in Gorakhpur. Where people will get world-class specialist medical facilities.
