Former Himachal Pradesh CM Virbhadra Singh passes away
Recently, former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister and Congress leader Virbhadra Singh have passed away at the age of 87. He breathed his last on 08 July 2021 at 3:40 am at Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital (IGMC) Hospital, Shimla after battling a prolonged illness.
Virbhadra Singh defeated Corona twice but for the last two days, he was having trouble breathing. After which he was put on ventilator support. He has been the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh six times.
Virbhadra Singh has a long political career and has been the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh 6 times, from 1983 to 1990, 1993 to 1998, 1998 to 2003, 2003 to 2007 and 2012 to 2017. Apart from this, there was also a Union Cabinet Minister in the UPA government.
Virbhadra Singh was born on 23 June 1934 in the house of Raja Padam Singh of the princely state of Bushahr. Virbhadra Singh had announced his retirement from electoral politics in January this year. He was a big and trusted leader of the Congress party.

(वीरभद्र सिंह ने दो बार कोरोना को मात दी लेकिन पिछले दो दिनों से उन्हें सांस लेने में दिक्कत आ रही थी| जिसके बाद उन्हें वेंटिलेटर सपोर्ट पर रखा गया| वे छह बार हिमाचल प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री रहे है|)
(वीरभद्र सिंह की राजनीतिक करियर काफी लंबा रहा है और वे 6 बार, साल 1983 से 1990, 1993 से 1998, 1998 से 2003, 2003 से 2007 और 2012 से 2017 तक हिमाचल प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री रहे है| इसके अलावा यूपीए सरकार में केंद्रीय कैबिनेट मंत्री भी रहे थे|)
(वीरभद्र सिंह का जन्म 23 जून 1934 को बुशहर रियासत के राजा पदम सिंह के घर में हुआ था| वीरभद्र सिंह ने इसी साल जनवरी में चुनावी राजनीति से संन्यास लेने का घोषणा किया था| वे कांग्रेस पार्टी के बड़े और भरोसेमंद नेता थे|)
