In view of the increasing number of corona patients in Kerala, the Central Government has sent a six-member team headed by the Director of the National Center for Disease Control to Kerala.
Corona havoc in Kerala: Cases of infection are increasing rapidly in Kerala. To overcome the corona infection, the Kerala government has announced a complete lockdown in the state on 31 July and 1 August. At the same time, the Center has sent a team of experts to help the state government.
Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan has written a letter to the Kerala government describing the recently celebrated Eid in Kerala as ‘super spreader events‘. The Union Health Secretary said that there is a need to strictly follow the guidelines of Corona.

Giving information, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has said that the team of experts will help in controlling the coronavirus in collaboration with the state government.
22,056 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported in Kerala on Wednesday, July 28. Due to which the total number of infection cases has increased to 33,27,301. In the data released by the state government, it was said that 17,761 people were cured of the infection, taking the total number of people cured so far to 31,60,800.
