Gulam Nabi Farewell to Rajya Sabha

Recently, four MPs, including senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad, two PDP and a BJP MP, are getting farewell from the Upper House of Parliament, Rajya Sabha on Tuesday. Whose term is coming to an end.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was addressing the Rajya Sabha while bidding farewell to all the MPs while getting emotional, he said that 28 years tenure is a big thing.

The PM said that I respect Ghulam Nabi Azad Ji based on my experiences and situations. I am sure that his campaign to show mercy, peace and for the nation will always go on.

The PM further said that when Ghulam Nabi Ji was the Chief Minister, I was also the Chief Minister of Gujarat. Once, some travelers from Gujarat were attacked by terrorists, in which 8 people were killed. At that time Ghulam Nabi Ji called me, then his tears were not stopping.

Mr Ghulam Nabi Azad Ji, Mr Shamsher Singh Ji, Mir Mohammad Fayaz Ji, Nadir Ahmad Ji, I would like all four of you to cherish this house, your experience, your knowledge to benefit the house and the country and your region. Thank you for your contribution to solving the problems.
