Central Government launched India Toy Fair 2021 official Website
The Government of India is going to organize The India Toy Fair (Toys Fair), 2021 for the first time from 27 February 2021 to 02 March 2021 on a virtual platform. This initiative is in line with the Prime Minister’s vision of making India a global hub for the toy industry.
The official website of India Toy Fair-2021 is www.theindiatoyfair.in. It has been launched by Textiles Minister Smriti Irani, Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank and Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal.
The idea of organizing the Toy Fair was conceived in the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat address on August 30, 2020. In his address, the Prime Minister highlighted the huge potential of the toy market and the opportunities that can be used to promote indigenous toys.
- The fair is being organized by the Ministry of Textiles in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
- The fair will educate, teach and promote the indigenous toy industry to children.
- The Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar Center for Creative Learning (CCL) has developed more than 200 toys for display at the fair.

(खिलौना मेला आयोजित करने का विचार 30 अगस्त, 2020 को प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के मन की बात संबोधन में किया गया था। अपने संबोधन में प्रधानमंत्री ने खिलौने के बाजार की विशाल संभावनाओं और उन अवसरों पर प्रकाश डाला, जिनका उपयोग स्वदेशी खिलौनों को बढ़ावा देने के लिए किया जा सकता है।)
- इस मेले का आयोजन कपड़ा मंत्रालय द्वारा शिक्षा मंत्रालय और वाणिज्य व उद्योग मंत्रालय के सहयोग से किया जा रहा है।
- यह मेला बच्चों को स्वदेशी खिलौना उद्योग के शिक्षण, सीखने और बढ़ावा देगा।
- इंडियन इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नोलॉजी गांधीनगर सेंटर फॉर क्रिएटिव लर्निंग (CCL) ने मेले में प्रदर्शन के लिए 200 से अधिक खिलौने विकसित किए हैं।
