Karnataka government gives green signal to Agriculture Sanjeevani van
Recently, Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa has flagged 40 Krishi Sanjivani vans in Bengaluru. To start this agriculture program, these vans have been launched by the State Department of Agriculture with central assistance under the National Agricultural Development Scheme.
The major objective of this initiative is to carry laboratories in agricultural areas, to study the conditions and to address the needs of the farmers in the current situation regarding pest control, soil fertility, weeds and suitable crops so that the farmers are aware of their farming techniques Get help for.
The Chief Minister said that in future the Agriculture Department has proposed to attach one such van for every Farmers Assistance Centers in the districts.
