PM Modi addresses 12th BRICS Summit
Recently Prime Minister Narendra Modi has addressed the 12th BRICS Summit through video conferencing. The summit was presided over by Russian President Vladimir Putin. India will host and preside over the 13th BRICS Summit in 2021. Prior to this, India was president in 2012 and 2016. The theme of the 12th edition of this summit was “Global stability, shared security and innovative growth”.
(हाल ही मे प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने वीडियो कांफ्रेसिंग के जरिए 12 वें ब्रिक्स शिखर सम्मेलन को संबोधित किया है। इस शिखर सम्मेलन की अध्यक्षता रूसी राष्ट्रपति व्लादिमीर पुतिन द्वारा की गयी। भारत 2021 में 13 वें ब्रिक्स शिखर सम्मेलन की मेजबानी व अध्यक्षता करेगा। इससे पहले भारत 2012 और 2016 में अध्यक्ष रहा था। इस शिखर सम्मेलन के 12 वें संस्करण का विषय “Global stability, shared security and innovative growth” था।)
Other key issues including intra-BRICS cooperation and global context by leaders at the BRICS Summit such as reform of the multilateral system, measures to mitigate the impact of the Kovid-19 pandemic, counter-terrorism cooperation, trade, health, energy and people-to-people The exchange was discussed.
