In the first phase of the Army Commanders’ Conference, the top level leadership of the Indian Army will discuss various aspects related to operational and administrative issues, including studies related to logistics and human resources. During the conference, they will brainstorm the current emerging security and administrative challenges, and set the future course for the Indian Army.

In this conference, increasing Make in India and reducing the import of defense equipment can also be discussed. Restrictions on the import of certain defense equipment may also be addressed.
