MHA revised guidelines: Select industries operating in Rural areas — outside municipality limits — were also included in the exemption list. But these are limited to manufacturing units of essentials goods, including drugs, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and their raw matrial

National Directives for COVID-19 Management in workplaces

1. All persons in charge of workplaces shall ensure social distancing as per MHA guidelines.
(कार्यस्थलों के प्रभारी सभी व्यक्ति एमएचए दिशानिर्देशों के अनुसार सामाजिक भेद सुनिश्चित करेंगे।)

2. No organisation or manager should allow gathering of 5 or more people.
(किसी भी संगठन या प्रबंधक को 5 या अधिक लोगों की सभा की अनुमति नहीं देनी चाहिए।)

3. All workplaces shall have adequate arrangements for temperature screening and provide sanitizers at the convenient spots.
(सभी कार्यस्थलों में तापमान जांच की पर्याप्त व्यवस्था होगी और सुविधाजनक स्थानों पर सैनिटाइज़र उपलब्ध कराए जाएंगे।)

4. All workplaces shall have a one-hour gap between shifts and staggered lunch breaks for the staff to ensure social distancing.
(सभी कार्यस्थलों में बदलाव के बीच एक घंटे का अंतराल और स्टाफ़र्ड लंच ब्रेक के दौरान कर्मचारियों के लिए सामाजिक अंतर को सुनिश्चित करना होगा।)

5. People above 65 years of age and those with co-morbidities and parents of children aged 5 years of below may be encouraged to work from home.
(65 वर्ष से अधिक आयु के लोग और 5 वर्ष से कम आयु के बच्चों के सह-रुग्णता और माता-पिता के साथ घर से काम करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया जा सकता है।)

6. Encourage all employees to use Arogya Setu app.
(सभी कर्मचारियों को आरोग्य सेतु ऐप का उपयोग करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करें।)

7. All organisations to sanitize work places between shifts.
(सभी संगठन शिफ्टों के बीच कार्य स्थानों को साफ करने के लिए।)

8. Large meetings to be prohibited.
(बड़ी बैठकें निषिद्ध हैं।)

Besides this, the Ministry of Home Affairs has issued a list of Standard Operating Procedure for social distancing for offices, workplaces, factories and establishments during lockdown.

Following are the SOPS:

1. All workplace premises including building entrance, canteens, cafeteria, meeting room, conference halls, open areas, the entrance gate of sites, bunkers, porta cabins, building, verandah, lifts, washroom, toilet, sink, water points, walls and other surfaces shall be disinfected completely using user-friendly disinfectant mediums.
(प्रवेश द्वार, कैंटीन, कैफेटेरिया, मीटिंग रूम, कॉन्फ्रेंस हॉल, खुले क्षेत्र, साइटों के प्रवेश द्वार, बंकर, पोर्टा केबिन, भवन, बरामदा, लिफ्ट, वॉशरूम, टॉयलेट, सिंक, वाटर पॉइंट, दीवार और अन्य सतहों सहित सभी कार्यस्थल परिसर उपयोगकर्ता के अनुकूल कीटाणुनाशक माध्यमों का उपयोग करके पूरी तरह से कीटाणुरहित किया जाना चाहिए।)

2. Special transportation facilities to be arranged for workers coming from outside without any dependence on the public transport system. The vehicles should work only with 30- 40 percent passenger capacity.
(सार्वजनिक परिवहन प्रणाली पर किसी भी निर्भरता के बिना बाहर से आने वाले श्रमिकों के लिए विशेष परिवहन सुविधाओं की व्यवस्था करना। वाहनों को केवल 30- 40 प्रतिशत यात्री क्षमता के साथ काम करना चाहिए।)


3. Mandatory disinfection of all vehicles and machinery entering the premises.
(परिसर में प्रवेश करने वाले सभी वाहनों और मशीनरी की अनिवार्य कीटाणुशोधन।0

4. Mandatory thermal screening of all people entering and exiting workplaces.
(कार्यस्थलों में प्रवेश करने और बाहर निकलने वाले सभी लोगों की अनिवार्य थर्मल स्क्रीनिंग।)

5. Mandatory medical insurance for the workers.
(श्रमिकों के लिए अनिवार्य चिकित्सा बीमा।)

6. Provision of hand wash and sanitizer in sufficient quantities preferably with touch-free mechanism at all entry and exit points and common areas.
(सभी प्रवेश और निकास बिंदुओं और सामान्य क्षेत्रों में स्पर्श-मुक्त तंत्र के साथ पर्याप्त मात्रा में हैंड वाश और सैनिटाइज़र का प्रावधान।)

7. Workplaces shall have a one-hour gap between shifted with staggered lunch breaks for staff.
(कर्मचारियों के लिए कंपित लंच ब्रेक के साथ कार्यस्थलों के बीच एक घंटे का अंतर होगा।)

8. Discourage large gatherings or meetings of 10 or more people. Seating of people to be fixed at least 6 feet away from each other on job sites and other sessions.
(10 या अधिक लोगों की बड़ी सभाओं या बैठकों को हतोत्साहित करें। लोगों की बैठने की जगह नौकरी साइटों और अन्य सत्रों में एक दूसरे से कम से कम 6 फीट की दूरी पर तय की जानी चाहिए।)

9. Not more than 2/4 the capacity of the lift to be allowed to travel in one trip.

10. Encourage the use of stairs.
(सीढ़ियों के उपयोग को प्रोत्साहित करें।0

11. Strict ban on gutka or tobacco use and spitting.

12. Identification of nearby hospitals and clinics that have been authorised to treat COVID-19 patients and the list should be made available at workplaces at all times.
(COVID-19 रोगियों के इलाज के लिए अधिकृत किए गए आसपास के अस्पतालों और क्लीनिकों की पहचान और सूची हर समय कार्यस्थलों पर उपलब्ध कराई जानी चाहिए।)
