When the appointment was done and by whom?
Pralay Mondal has been named the new Managing Director and CEO of Kerala-based CSB Bank, the bank announced on September 16.
In accordance with a news release, the Reserve Bank of India’s approval allowed the Bank’s Board of Directors to name Mondal as the MD & CEO of the Bank on September 15, 2022. (RBI).
According to the bank, Mondal was appointed for a three-year term beginning on September 15, 2022, and ending on September 14, 2025.
On September 23, 2020, Mondal started working for the bank as President (Retail, SME, Operations, and IT). On February 17, 2022, he was promoted to Deputy Managing Director.
From April 1, 2022, through the end of his term, Mondal served as the bank’s temporary managing director and CEO in the absence of a regular Managing Director and CEO, up until the present.

Former Executive Director and Head of Retail Banking at Axis Bank, Mondal. With over 30 years of experience, Mondal has a broad range of knowledge in banking, including skills in retail assets, retail liabilities, business banking, products, and technology.
He was Senior Group President and Head of Retail and Business Banking at Yes Bank before joining Axis Bank, where he played a significant role in creating the bank’s entire retail franchise.
Mondal formerly worked for Standard Chartered Bank, Wipro InfoTech, and Colgate Palmolive in addition to 12 years at HDFC Bank.
