UN World Happiness Report 2022: India has improved three places to 136th position in the recently released United Nations’ World Happiness Report for the year 2022, in which 146 countries rank | In the year 2021, the rank of India was 139.

Finland has topped the 2022 World Happiness Report for the fifth year in a row. Afghanistan has been ranked as the world’s most unhappy country at 146th place. The situation of Pakistan, which is battling terrorism and economic problem, is said to be better than India’s. In this index, Pakistan has been placed at the 121st position.

World Happiness Report:

According to the 10th edition of the World Happiness Report, a total of 146 countries were ranked in this year’s index. The report of which was released on March 18. In this, the rank is given on factors like the feeling of happiness, level of GDP, life expectancy, freedom to make life choices, generosity and perception of corruption.

 

The World Happiness Report is being published by the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network since 2012, to give countries an overview of how happy their citizens feel. The report is based on two key ideas, (1) happiness or life evaluations as measured through opinion surveys and (2) identifying key factors that determine well-being and life evaluations across countries.
