High Alert in Punjab: The Union Home Ministry has put the Punjab Government on high alert that anti-national elements are planning to incite religious sentiments in Punjab. Agencies have issued orders to ensure the security of all religious places apart from all Dera chiefs.
After the alert of the agencies, the Punjab government has beefed up the security of all religious places. From temples to gurudwaras, installation of CCTV cameras and even sarpanches at the village level have been started to warn that if any mischievous element is seen around the village or religious places, then its information should be given to the police immediately.

In Punjab, where there was an incident of sacrilege in Sri Darbar Sahib on Saturday, before this, nefarious acts were also done in Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib.
