Farmer’s movement postponed: After the agreement on the announcement and proposal of the central government, the farmers’ movement is going to be postponed after 378 days today. Farmers will celebrate Vijay Diwas on Saturday 11th December. There was a plan to celebrate Vijay Diwas on Friday but it has been postponed due to the death of CDS General Bipin Rawat and other army officers.

From December 11, farmers will start going together at 10:30 am. After that on December 13, the farmers will go to the Golden Temple in Amritsar. At the same time, on December 15, the next meeting of the United Kisan Morcha will be held in Delhi. The farmers have said that they are calling this movement a postponement because the proposals have not yet been fully accepted, if the demands of the farmers hang for a long time, then the movement will start again.

The government has withdrawn all three agricultural laws and has also given its approval from both the houses in the winter session of Parliament. Farmers were standing at various borders of Delhi for the last year demanding the withdrawal of three agricultural laws. After this, the farmers had put forward the demand for a guarantee on MSP and compensation for the farmers who lost their lives during the agitation.

On Tuesday, the government had given a written proposal regarding the return of farmers to their homes, which the farmers had returned. After this, the United Kisan Morcha said on Wednesday that a consensus has been reached among the farmers on the latest draft of the proposal sent by the Center on their pending demands. Kisan United Front leader Gurnam Singh Chaduni said on Thursday that the farmers have decided to suspend their agitation.
