सिद्धार्थ को टीवी शो ‘बाबुल का आंगन छूटे ना’ में लीड रोल मिला। हालांकि उन्हें इस धारावाहिक से खासी पहचान नहीं मिली थी| इसके बाद उन्होंने कलर्स टेलीविजन के शो ‘बालिका वधू’ में सिव का किरदार निभाया| इस धारावाहिक से सिद्धार्थ ने पहचान बनाई|
सिद्धार्थ शुक्ला और शहनाज गिल की जोड़ी काफी मशहूर थी| दोनों बिग बॉस 13 में मिले थे| दोनों की आए दिन रिलेशनशिप की अफवाहें भी उड़ती रहती थीं| सिद्धार्थ के निधन की खबर से शहनाज टूट गई हैं|
