In view of the apprehension of disturbance in the mahapanchayat of farmers in Karnal, the government has also decided to stop internet services in Kurukshetra, Jind, Panipat and Kaithal till 11:59 pm on September 7.
Kisan Mahapanchayat: Today there is a mahapanchayat of farmers in Karnal. In which farmers’ organizations will gather in the new grain market at ten o’clock in the morning for the siege of the Mahapanchayat and the district secretariat. Till midnight, the industrial area located in Sector-3, adjacent to the new grain market, was sealed with barbed wire and bamboo so that farmers could not leave the grain market from any side. By 12:30 pm, seven gates of the industrial area had been sealed.
After the Mahapanchayat, the next target of the farmers will be to reach the Mini Secretariat. For this reason, barricades have been put up here from Nirmal Kutia Chowk to Mini Secretariat Gate of GT Road. These will be used to block the way as before. On the other hand, farmer leaders were also busy in calling the farmers from different places to Karnal.

The ADGP of CID has told the government that the situation in Karnal and adjoining districts may worsen during the farmers’ protest, so special precautions are being taken.
करनाल में आज किसानों की महापंचायत है| जिसमे किसान संगठन सुबह दस बजे नई अनाज मंडी में महापंचायत व जिला सचिवालय के घेराव के लिए एकत्रित होंगे| आधी रात तक नई अनाज मंडी से सटे सेक्टर-3 स्थित औद्योगिक क्षेत्र को कंटीले तार और बांसों से सील कर दिया गया ताकि अनाज मंडी से किसी भी तरफ से किसान निकल न पाएं| रात 12:30 बजे तक औद्योगिक क्षेत्र के सात गेट सील किए जा चुके थे|
महापंचायत के बाद किसानों का अगला लक्ष्य लघु सचिवालय पहुंचने का होगा| इस कारण यहां जीटी रोड के निर्मल कुटिया चौक से लघु सचिवालय गेट तक बैरिकेड लगा दिए गए है| इनका प्रयोग पहले की तरह रास्ता रोकने के लिए किया जाएगा| उधर, किसान नेता भी विभिन्न जगहों से किसानों को करनाल बुलाने में जुटे रहे|
करनाल में किसानों की महापंचायत में उपद्रव की आशंका को देखते हुए सरकार ने कुरुक्षेत्र, जींद, पानीपत और कैथल में भी सात सितंबर रात 11: 59 बजे तक इंटरनेट सेवाएं बंद करने का निर्णय लिया है| सीआईडी के एडीजीपी ने सरकार को बताया है कि किसानों के प्रदर्शन के दौरान करनाल व आसपास के जिलों में स्थिति बिगड़ सकती है, इसलिए विशेष एहतियात बरती जा रही है|
