Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the chairman of Somnath Mandik Trust. At the same time, Amit Shah is the trustee of the trust. Shah had laid the foundation of the Samudra Darshan walk path in December 2018.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtual inaugurate different projects for the historic Somnath temple in Gujarat today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also attend the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony of Parvati temple. Along with this, Modi Ji will lay the foundation stone of projects like construction of promenade, exhibition centre and construction of Parvati temple etc.
A one-kilometre long sea darshan walk-path is being constructed on the beach behind the Somnath temple, under the PRASAD scheme. It has been developed at a total cost of over Rs 47 crore.
Somnath Exhibition Centre: The Somnath Exhibition Centre, developed in the premises of the ‘Tourist Facilitation Centre’, displays the fragmented parts of the old Somnath temple and the Nagara style temple architecture sculptures of the old Somnath. The renovated temple complex of old (Juna) Somnath has been repaired by Shree Somnath Trust with an expenditure of Rs 3.5 crore.
Ahilyabai Temple: This temple is also known as Ahilyabai Temple as it was built by Rani Ahilyabai of Indore. Keep in mind that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the chairman of Somnath Mandik Trust. At the same time, Amit Shah is the trustee of the trust.
प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी आज गुजरात के ऐतिहासिक सोमनाथ मंदिर के लिए अलग-अलग परियोजनाओं का वर्चुअल उद्घाटन करेंगे| प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी, पार्वती मंदिर के भूमि पूजन समारोह में भी शामिल होंगे| साथ ही मोदी जी सैरगाह का निर्माण, प्रदर्शनी केंद्र और पार्वती मंदिर का निर्माण आदि परियोजनाओं की आधारशिला रखेंगे|
सोमनाथ मंदिर के पीछे समुद्र तट पर एक किलोमीटर लंबे समुद्र दर्शन पैदल-पथ का निर्माण, प्रसाद योजना के तहत किया गया जा रहा है| इसे 47 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक की कुल लागत से विकसित किया गया है|
सोमनाथ प्रदर्शनी केंद्र: ‘पर्यटक सुविधा केंद्र’ के परिसर में विकसित सोमनाथ प्रदर्शनी केंद्र, पुराने सोमनाथ मंदिर के खंडित हिस्सों और पुराने सोमनाथ की नागर शैली के मंदिर वास्तुकला वाली मूर्तियों को प्रदर्शित करता है| पुराने (जूना) सोमनाथ के पुनर्निर्मित मंदिर परिसर को श्री सोमनाथ ट्रस्ट द्वारा 3.5 करोड़ रुपये के खर्च के साथ दुरुस्त किया गया है|
अहिल्याबाई मंदिर: इस मंदिर को अहिल्याबाई मंदिर के रूप में भी जाना जाता है क्योंकि इसे इंदौर की रानी अहिल्याबाई द्वारा बनाया गया था| ध्यान रहे कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी सोमनाथ मंदिक न्यास के अध्यक्ष हैं| वहीं, अमित शाह न्यास के न्यासी हैं|
