Rudreswara temple was the only nomination for the UNESCO World Heritage Site tag for the year 2019 by the Government of India.
Near Warangal in Telangana, Palampet in Mulugu district is the Kakatiya Rudreshwar Temple also known as Ramappa Temple. It has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List during the 44th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee. With this, there are 39 World Heritage Sites in India.
Giving information about this, UNESCO said through a tweet, “The Kakatiya Rudreswara (Rampappa) temple of Telangana has been included as a World Heritage Site. Rudreswara temple by the Government of India, UNESCO for the year 2019. (UNESCO) was the only nomination for the World Heritage Site tag.
The Rudreshwar temple was built in 1213 AD during the reign of the Kakatiya Empire. The iconic 13th-century temple is also known as the Ramappa temple. Which is named after its architect Ramappa.

(यूनेस्को ने इस बारे में जानकारी देते हुए एक ट्वीट के माध्यम से कहा, ” तेलंगाना के काकतीय रुद्रेश्वर (रामप्पा) मंदिर को विश्व विरासत स्थल के रूप में शामिल किया गया है| रुद्रेश्वर मंदिर (Rudreswara temple) भारत सरकार द्वारा वर्ष 2019 के लिए यूनेस्को (UNESCO) की विश्व धरोहर स्थल टैग के लिए एकमात्र नामांकन था|)
(रुद्रेश्वर मंदिर का निर्माण 1213 ईस्वी में काकतीय साम्राज्य के शासनकाल के दौरान किया गया था| 13वीं सदी के प्रतिष्ठित मंदिर को रामप्पा मंदिर के नाम से भी जाना जाता है| जिसका नाम इसके वास्तुकार रामप्पा के नाम पर रखा गया है|)
