The ARMEX-21 was conducted in the mountain ranges of the Himalayan region to promote the adventure activity in the country and the Indian Army.
Recently, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has flagged off the skiing expedition of the Indian Army organized in the Himalayan mountain ranges from 10 March to 6 July.
The expedition, named ARMEX-21, was flagged off from the Karakoram Pass in Ladakh on 10 March and culminated on 6 July at Malri in Uttarakhand after covering a distance of 1,660 km in 119 days.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Rajnath Singh congratulated the team on the successful completion of the challenging expedition and lauded them for their courage and resilience.
ARMEX-21 was organized in the mountain ranges of the Himalayan region to promote adventure activities in the country and the Indian Army. During this expedition, the team has travelled through several passes and through glaciers, valleys, and rivers at an altitude of 5,000-6,500 meters.

ARMEX-21 नामक इस अभियान को 10 मार्च को लद्दाख के काराकोरम दर्रे से हरी झंडी दिखाई गई और इसका समापन 119 दिनों में 1,660 किमी की दूरी तय करने के बाद 6 जुलाई को उत्तराखंड के मालरी में किया गया|
इस अवसर पर बोलते राजनाथ सिंह ने चुनौतीपूर्ण अभियान के सफल समापन पर टीम को बधाई दी और उनके साहस और लचीलेपन के लिए उनकी सराहना की।
ARMEX-21 को देश और भारतीय सेना में साहसिक गतिविधियों को बढ़ावा देने के लिए हिमालयी क्षेत्र की पर्वत श्रृंखलाओं में आयोजित किया गया था। इस अभियान के दौरान, टीम ने 5,000-6,500 मीटर की ऊंचाई पर कई दर्रों और ग्लेशियरों, घाटियों और नदियों के मध्य से यात्रा की है|
