The United Nations declared Malala the “most famous teenager in the world” of the decade in its review report released at the end of 2019.
World Malala Day is celebrated every year on 12 July by the United Nations to honour the contribution of young activist Malala Yousafzai. Malala Day is celebrated around the world on the birthday of Malala Yousafzai to honour the rights of women and children.
Malala was shot by Taliban gunmen on 9 October 2012 for publicly raising her voice for girls’ education. In which, despite being seriously injured, Malala soon returned to the public and her views were fiercer than before and advocated for gender rights.
Malala has founded the Malala Fund, a non-profit organization to help young girls go to school, and co-authored the international bestseller “I Am Malala”.
Malala was first awarded the National Youth Peace Prize in 2012 by the Government of Pakistan. In the same year 2014, at the age of 17, she became the youngest recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize for her efforts for child rights, which was started even before she was shot.

(मलाला को पाकिस्तान सरकार द्वारा पहली बार साल 2012 में राष्ट्रीय युवा शांति पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया था| वही वर्ष 2014 में, वह 17 साल की उम्र में बाल अधिकारों के लिए अपने प्रयासों के लिए नोबेल शांति पुरस्कार पाने वाली सबसे कम उम्र की प्राप्तकर्ता बनी, जिसे उन्होंने गोली लगने से पहले ही शुरू कर दिया गया था|)
