In the second ODI against India, India defeated host Sri Lanka by three wickets. With this win, India has taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.
There was a time during the match that seven wickets had fallen for India’s 193 runs. Then it seemed that Team India would lose this match. But due to the partnership of 84 runs between Deepak Chahar and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, India registered a thrilling three-wicket win in this match.
At one point India’s three wickets had fallen for 65 runs. Suryakumar Yadav scored 53 runs off 44 balls after India’s top order failed. He got India out of the initial shock with a half-century partnership with Manish Pandey.
Deepak Chahar’s all-rounder performance was seen in India’s second ODI win. He first took two wickets while bowling the best Deepak. After that, doing amazing in batting, he played unbeaten innings of 69 runs to win India.
