The first Asia Pacific Public Sector Cyber Security Executive Council has been launched by Microsoft in the Asia Pacific Public Sector. It includes policy makers and influential people from Brunei, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand. It aims to accelerate public-private partnerships in cyber security and sharing of threat intelligence.
Why was this council established?
The council has been set up to build strong alliances and strengthen cyber security. Because these countries experience a higher-than-average incidence of malware and ransomware attacks. They experience 1.6 times more malware attacks and 1.7 times more ransomware attacks than other countries.

इस परिषद की स्थापना क्यों की गई?
मजबूत गठबंधन बनाने और साइबर सुरक्षा को मजबूत करने के लिए परिषद की स्थापना की गई है। क्योंकि ये देश मैलवेयर और रैंसमवेयर हमलों की औसत से अधिक घटनाओं का अनुभव करते हैं। वे अन्य देशों की तुलना में 1.6 गुना अधिक मैलवेयर हमलों और 1.7 गुना अधिक रैंसमवेयर हमलों का अनुभव करते हैं।
