Recently, John David McAfee, the creator of British-American pioneering software, McAfee antivirus software, has died. John was found dead in his cell in a prison near Barcelona, where he had been for tax evasion since October 2020.

The deadly incident occurred shortly after Spain’s National Court of Justice authorized his extradition to the United States on criminal charges filed in Tennessee by the Tax Division of the Justice Department. He was accused of deliberately failing to file tax returns between 2014 and 2018 while earning millions from consulting work, cryptocurrencies, among other things.
