 In view of the increasing havoc of Corona in Maharashtra, the Government of Maharashtra has ordered to implement new and strict rules.

Recently, the Maharashtra government has imposed stringent restrictions on 04 April 2021 to prevent coronavirus infection. These restrictions include a lockdown on weekends (at the end of the week) with a night curfew. Ahead of Corona, helpless Maharashtra has once again returned to the path of lockdown.

The Maharashtra government has taken this decision due to the sudden increase in the cases of coronavirus infection in the state. In view of the increasing havoc of Corona in Maharashtra, the Government of Maharashtra has ordered to implement new and strict rules.

The new rules related to corona in Maharashtra are as follows: –

  • Section 144 will remain in force in the state.
  • Work-related to farming will continue as before.
  • Shops connected with essential services may remain open.
  • Religious places were also ordered to be closed for darshan.
  • Private coaching classes, schools and colleges will remain closed. There will be only class 10 and 12 exams.
  • Orders were ordered to completely close the hotels, restaurants and bars.
  • Action will be taken if more than 5 people are found together from 7 to 8 in the morning.
  • The curfew will remain in force from 8 am to 7 am. Action will be taken against those who go out without reason. 
  • In the day, if people crowd in public places without following the rules, then the local administration has been given the right to close these places completely.
  • Malls and markets will remain closed till April 30, barring food grains, grocery, medicines, vegetables and other essential services.
  • Banks, stock markets, insurance, medicine, medical, telecom, electricity and water-related offices can be opened.
  • All drama houses, theatres, multiplexes, theatres, video parlours, clubs, swimming pools, auditoriums, water parks associated with entertainment will be closed.
  • Apart from this, strict restrictions like shutting down private offices, theatres and salons etc. will be implemented to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection.
  • Taxis and autorickshaws can only seat 50 percent of their capacity, as well as passengers will not be allowed to stand and travel in buses and must wear masks.
