Mukhmeet S. Bhatia becomes Director General of ESIC
Recently senior IAS officer, Mukhmeet S. Bhatia took over as Director-General of Employees’ State Insurance Corporation-ESIC on 04 April 2021.
Mukhmeet S. Bhatia is a 1990 Jharkhand cadre IAS officer. Prior to this, he has also served as Additional Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance. The IAS is a statutory and autonomous body under the Ministry of Labor and Employment.

हाल ही में वरिष्ठ IAS अधिकारी, मुखमीत एस. भाटिया (Mukhmeet S. Bhatia) ने 04 अप्रैल, 2021 को कर्मचारी राज्य बीमा निगम (Employees’ State Insurance Corporation-ESIC) के महानिदेशक का पदभार संभाला है।
मुखमीत एस. भाटिया, 1990 के झारखंड कैडर के IAS अधिकारी हैं। इससे पहले, वह वित्त मंत्रालय के आर्थिक मामलों के विभाग में अतिरिक्त सचिव के रूप में काम भी कर चुके हैं। IAS श्रम और रोजगार मंत्रालय के तहत एक वैधानिक और स्वायत्त निकाय है।
