Recently, the famous American writer Jhumpa Lahiri launched his new novel titled “Whereabouts”. The book is an English translation of the Italian novel ‘Ias Dove Mi Trovo’, written by author Jhumpa Lahiri himself and published in 2018.
This book is about an unnamed female protagonist of over 45 years, in which she briefly sees the burden of her life, pride, past and future life, relationships and relationships. The author himself has translated this novel into English.
Jhumpa Lahiri is the author of four other works, which include ‘Interpreter of Maladies, ‘The Namesake’, ‘Uncoated Earth’ and ‘The Leland’. Jhumpa has received a Pulitzer Prize, a Penn Hemingway Award, a Frank O’Connor International Short Story Award and a Guggenheim Fellowship. Jhumpa Lahiri was inducted into the American Academy of Arts and Letters in 2012.
