Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju said Yogasan Khel has been included in Khelo India Yuva Khel 2021 in both men and women.
Recently, Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju has announced the inclusion of Khel India Youth Games 2021 to develop Yogasan as a competitive sport. Under this, Yogasan games for both male and female categories have been included in the Khelo India Youth Games, 2021.
In a written reply in the Lok Sabha, Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju said that the government has also recognized the National Yogasan Sports Federation (NYSF) for the development of Yoga in the country. In November 2019, a
n International Yogasan Sports Federation was formed under the chairmanship of Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev with HR Nagendra as General Secretary.
Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju said, “With the recognition of the government by the NYSF, it has become entitled to receive financial assistance for organizing national championships in the senior, junior and sub-junior categories and participation in international sports competitions.”
हाल ही में, खेल मंत्री किरेन रिजिजू ने योगासन को प्रतिस्पर्धी खेल के रूप में विकसित करने के लिए खेलो इंडिया यूथ गेम्स 2021 में शामिल करने की घोषणा की है| इसके तहत पुरुष और महिला दोनों श्रेणियों के लिए योगासन खेल को खेलो इंडिया यूथ गेम्स, 2021 में शामिल किया गया है|
खेल मंत्री किरेन रिजिजू ने लोकसभा में लिखित जवाब में कहा कि सरकार ने देश में योगासन के विकास के लिए राष्ट्रीय योगासन खेल महासंघ (एनवाईएसएफ) को भी मान्यता प्रदान की है| नवंबर 2019 में महासचिव के रूप में एचआर नागेंद्र के साथ योग गुरु बाबा रामदेव की अध्यक्षता में एक अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योगासन खेल महासंघ का गठन किया गया था|
खेल मंत्री किरेन रिजिजू ने कहा, ‘एनवाईएसएफ को सरकार से मान्यता मिलने से वह सीनियर, जूनियर और सब जूनियर वर्ग में राष्ट्रीय चैंपियनशिप के आयोजन तथा अंतरराष्ट्रीय खेल प्रतियोगिताओं में भागीदारी के लिए वित्तीय सहायता हासिल करने का हकदार बन गया है|)
