Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday (March 22) launched the ‘Jal Shakti Abhiyan: Catch the Rain’ campaign on World Water Day via video conferencing.
Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched Jal Shakti Abhiyan on the occasion of ‘World Water Day on 22 March 2021 through video conferencing. The Prime Minister said in the program that at present, both awareness and efforts towards water power are increasing.
Jal Shakti Abhiyan will be started in all urban and rural areas of the country. Whose theme “catches the rain, where it falls, when it falls”. This campaign will run from 22 March to 30 November. During this time, people of all urban and rural areas will be made aware and it will be told how they can improve their future by saving water.
The objective of this campaign is to conserve rainwater suitable for climatic conditions and sub-flat areas to ensure the storage of rainwater to all stakeholders. The areas most benefited by this campaign will be those areas where life is affected due to lack of water.
On this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the Prime Minister Agricultural Irrigation Scheme or every farm should have a water campaign, ‘Per Drop More Crop’ campaign or Namami Gange Mission, Jal Jeevan Mission or Atal Ground Water Scheme, all are working fast. Is The better India manages rainwater, the less the country’s dependence on groundwater will be?
India is an agricultural country and its agriculture is based on rainwater. Nevertheless, after this the Green Revolution took place and other means of irrigation came to increase productivity, but the usefulness of rainwater never diminished.
(हाल ही में, प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने वीडिया कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के माध्यम से 22 मार्च 2021 को ‘विश्व जल दिवस’ के मौके पर जल शक्ति अभियान लॉन्च किया है | प्रधानमंत्री ने कार्यक्रम में कहा कि मौजूदा समय में जलशक्ति के प्रति जागरुकता और प्रयास दोनों बढ़ रहे हैं|)
(जल शक्ति अभियान देश के सभी शहरी व ग्रामीण इलाकों में शुरू किया जायेगा | जिसकी थीम ‘catch the rain, where it falls, when it falls’ है| ये अभियान 22 मार्च से 30 नवंबर तक चलेगा| इस दौरान सभी शहरी और ग्राणीण क्षेत्रों के लोगों को जागरुक किया जाएगा और ये बताया जाएगा की किस तरह से वह जल बचाकर अपने भविष्य को बेहतर बना सकते हैं|)
(इस अभियान का उद्देश्य सभी हितधारकों को बारिश के पानी के भंडारण को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए जलवायु परिस्थितियों और उप-समतल क्षेत्रों के लिए उपयुक्त बारिश का पानी संरक्षित करना है| इस अभियान से सबसे अधिक फायदा उन क्षेत्रों को मिलेगा जहां पानी की कमी से जनजीवन प्रभावित है|)
(इस मौके पर प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री कृषि सिंचाई योजना हो या हर खेत को पानी अभियान, ‘Per Drop More Crop’ अभियान हो या नमामि गंगे मिशन, जल जीवन मिशन हो या अटल भूजल योजना, सभी पर तेजी से काम हो रहा है | भारत वर्षा जल का जितना बेहतर प्रबंधन करेगा उतना ही भूजल पर देश की निर्भरता कम होगी|)
(भारत एक कृषि प्रधान देश है और इसकी कृषि वर्षा जल पर आधारित है | फिर भी इसके बाद हरित क्रांति हुई और उत्पादकता बढ़ाने के लिए सिंचाई के अन्य साधन आए, लेकिन वर्षा जल की उपयोगिता कभी कम नहीं हुई|)
