Recently, Kieron Pollard has become the second batsman of former India batsman Yuvraj Singh to hit six sixes in an over in T20 cricket by hitting six sixes in an over.
Pollard led the West Indies to a big four-wicket victory in the first match of the three-match T20 series being played against Sri Lanka. While Pollard has become the third batsman to hit six sixes in an over after Herschelle Gibbs (South Africa) and Yuvraj Singh in an international match.
Pollard achieved the feat by hitting 6 sixes off Sri Lanka’s Akila Dananjaya in an over in the first T20I of the West Indies being played at the Coolidge Cricket Ground in Antigua. Sri Lankan leg-spinner Aquila Dananjaya (3-62) was the unfortunate bowler whose Pollard scored 36 runs in 6 balls, while he took a hat-trick in the same match.
