PM Modi approves 8 Trains Connecting the Statue of Unity
Recently, on 18 January, Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off eight trains connecting the Statue of Unity in Kevadia, Gujarat with various regions of the country through video conferencing.
The eight trains flagged off will connect Kevadia to Varanasi, Dadar, Ahmedabad, Hazrat Nizamuddin, Rewa, Chennai, and Pratapnagar.
Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and Railway Minister Piyush Goyal were also present at the inauguration of these railway-related projects in Gujarat. The PMO said in the statement that these railway stations have been equipped with local features and modern passenger amenities. Kevadia is the first station in the country to have a certificate of being a green building.
The PM also inaugurated other railway projects in Kevadia, including the Dabhoi-Chandod line which has been converted from a small line to a large line, Chandod to Kevadia new major rail line, Pratapnagar-Kevadia new electrified section, Dabhoi Junction, Chandod and new stations of Kevadia Buildings are included.

(जिन आठ ट्रेनों को हरी झंडी दिखाई गई वे केवडिया को वाराणसी, दादर, अहमदाबाद, हजरत निज़ामुद्दीन, रीवा, चेन्नई, और प्रतापनगर से जोड़ेंगी |)
(गुजरात में रेल से जुड़ी इन परियोजनाओं के उद्घाटन के मौके पर गुजरात के मुख्यमंत्री विजय रूपाणी और रेल मंत्री पीयूष गोयल भी उपस्थित रहे | पीएमओ ने बयान में कहा कि इन रेलवे स्टेशनों को स्थानीय विशेषताओं और आधुनिक यात्री सुविधाओं से लैस किया गया है केवड़िया देश का पहला स्टेशन है जिसे हरित इमारत होने का प्रमाण पत्र मिला है |)
(पीएम ने केवडिया में अन्य रेलवे परियोजनाओं का भी उद्घाटन किया, जिनमें दभोई – चंदोद लाइन जिसे छोटी लाइन से बड़ी लाइन में बदलना, चंदोद से केवड़िया नई बड़ी रेल लाइन, प्रतापनगर- केवड़िया नए विद्युतीकृत खंड, दभोई जंक्शन, चंदोद और केवड़िया के नए स्टेशन भवन शामिल हैं |)
