Recently, Sheikh Sabah al-Khalid al-Sabah has been appointed Prime Minister of Kuwait by Kuwait Amir Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Sabah. The move comes two days after Sheikh Saba submitted his government’s resignation as part of a procedural process following the parliamentary elections.

The country’s sultan accepted the resignation of the current Prime Minister to form the new government. Sheikh Nawaf who took over the leadership of the Gulf country in September following the death of his brother has also asked Sheikh Sabah to nominate new cabinet members. The new cabinet will be approved by the emir.
