Kerala launches “Parivartanam” scheme to improve livelihoods of fishermen
Recently, the Government of Kerala launched a pioneering environmental program called ‘Parivartanam’ to improve the livelihood of the fishing community. The objective of which is to improve the livelihood skills of the youth along the coastline and to enable the socio-economic upliftment of fishermen community.
(हाल ही मे, केरल सरकार ने मछली पकड़ने वाले समुदाय की आजीविका में सुधार करने के लिए ‘परिवर्तनम’ नामक एक अग्रणी पर्यावरणीय कार्यक्रम की शुरूआत की। जिसका उद्देश्य समुद्र तट के किनारे युवाओं के आजीविका कौशल में सुधार लाना है और मछुआरा समुदाय के सामाजिक-आर्थिक उत्थान को सक्षम बनाना।)
