यूपी सरकार ने बाल श्रमिकों को शिक्षित करने के लिए बाल श्रम शिक्षा योजना शुरू की
The Uttar Pradesh government has launched the “Bal Shramik Vidya Yojana” to educate child laborers in the state. The scheme has been launched on the occasion of International Child Labor Prohibition Day. Under this scheme, child workers will get an opportunity to read and write.
(उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार ने राज्य में बाल श्रमिकों को शिक्षित करने के लिए “बाल श्रमिक विद्या योजना” की शुरूआत की है। यह योजना अंतर्राष्ट्रीय बाल श्रम निषेध दिवस के अवसर पर शुरू की गई है। इस योजना के तहत बाल श्रमिकों को पढ़ने लिखने का अवसर मिलेगा।)
Benefits of the scheme:
- Under this scheme, the government will provide monthly financial assistance of Rs 1,000 and Rs 1,200 to the selected boys and girls respectively.
- If these children pass class 8, 9 and 10, then they will be given an additional amount of Rs. 6,000 on passing each class.
- A total of 2,000 children from 57 districts in the state will benefit from the first phase of “Child Labor Learning Scheme”.
- Apart from this, the families of these children will also get the benefit of all the central and state government schemes.
