36 वें राष्ट्रीय खेलों को COVID-19 के कारण अनिश्चित काल के लिए स्थगित किया गया
This year the 36th National Games to be held in Goa in October-November have been postponed indefinitely due to COVID-19 epidemic. It has been decided by the Board of Organizers of the National Games to postpone the National Games due to the COVID-19 epidemic.

The Sports Committee will organize a social event in the end of September, in which a decision can be taken on setting new dates for the National Games. The Government of Goa requires guidance from the Union Sports Ministry, requiring notification for four months prior to the event for the preparation of the Games. The last edition of these games was held in Kerala in 2015.
