India announces appointment of new ambassadors in Qatar and Bahrain

Deepak Mittal has been appointed Indis next Ambassador to Qatar, while Piyush Srivastava goes to Bahrain in the same capacity, as per an official release of Ministry of External Affairs issued on Wednesday.

 Deepak Mittal, the next Ambassador of India to Qatar, has been appointed, on the other hand Piyush Srivastava, the next Ambassador of India to Bahrain. Both of them are officers of the 1998 batch Indian Foreign Service.
(कतर में भारत के अगले राजदूत दीपक मित्तल को नियुक्त किया गया है, वहीं दूसरी ओर बहरीन में भारत का अगला राजदूत पीयूष श्रीवास्तव को नियुक्त किया गया हैं। ये दोनों ही 1998 बैच के भारतीय विदेश सेवा के अधिकारी हैं।)
Deepak Mittal is currently appointed as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs. He succeeds P. Kumaran, a 1992 batch Indian Foreign Service officer, while Piyush Srivastava will replace 1986 Indian Foreign Service officer Alok Kumar Sinha.
(दीपक मित्तल वर्तमान में विदेश मंत्रालय में संयुक्त सचिव के रूप में नियुक्त हैं। वे 1992 बैच के भारतीय विदेश सेवा के अधिकारी पी. कुमारन का स्थान लेंगे, जबकि पीयूष श्रीवास्तव, 1986 के भारतीय विदेश सेवा के अधिकारी आलोक कुमार सिन्हा का स्थान लेंगे।)
